The heating system of hot-dip galvanizing furnace must satisfy the following requirements: less fuel consumption, that is, high thermal efficiency; the whole galvanizing furnace heating temperature uniform, avoid overheating and underheating areas, especially to avoid local strong flame and radiation high temperature; according to the needs of hot-dip galvanizing production can be adjusted at will; The outside temperature of the zinc pot can not be too high.

Correct design and operation of heating system of hot-dip galvanizing furnace can greatly prolong the service life of zinc pot, and reduce the amount of zinc slag and zinc ash.

1. heating system for gas and fuel oil

When gas or fuel is used, the burner is mounted on the furnace wall, and the fuel gas or fuel is injected into the furnace to burn. The number of burners is determined by the type of fuel, the size of the zinc pot and the output of zinc plating. Avoid localized strong flame directly into steel zinc pots. The following types of furnaces are available for reference and selection:

(1) a fire plate is added between the zinc pot and the flame. The fire protection plate can protect the zinc pot from direct contact with the flame. Material selection and installation position of the flameproof plate should be appropriate. It should not only play a role in preventing fire, but also not affect heating, so as to avoid reducing energy efficiency.

(2) an additional forced circulation heating system is added. In order to improve the heating efficiency, a high temperature resistant fan is installed beside the combustion chamber to make the hot gas circulate rapidly in the galvanizing furnace, so that the temperature and heat transfer in the furnace are more uniform.

(3) adopt high speed jet burner system. The high speed jet burner is installed in the diagonal opposite position of the galvanized furnace, as shown in Figure 2-1. Flame and combustion furnace gas flow rapidly in the galvanizing furnace along the channel around the galvanizing pot. The heat conduction is very uniform, eliminating the hot spot and achieving high heat conduction efficiency. The high speed jet burner system is called zinc smelting furnace.
